Readiness Questions:
MAKR Sewing Track: Do you understand the five weeks of training? *
Complete Level 1 training includes: How to cut and sew, use a domestic sewing machine, become familiar with other proficiency tools and techniques, and develop skills to make your first products. Complete Level 2 training includes:. Learning to meet the standards of making sustainable zero waste up-cycled products for M&Ps design house at a professional level. 3 days a week on-site for five weeks. No previous experience is required.
MAKR Administrative and Organizational Track *
Learn about product inventory management and logistics, textile resource library coordination, packing and shipping fulfillment, retail merchandising and management, sorting and curating materials, e-commerce coordination, and basic product photography training that can intertwine with retail merchandising for M&Ps in-house retail store. 3 days a week on-site for 30 days. No previous experience is required.
MAKR Barista Track *
Learn all the basics of working in a coffeehouse via our MAKR Cafe donation coffee bar training incubator. This training track will teach you how to create the hot and iced versions of the five top coffeehouse espresso drinks, coffee drinks and tea drinks and how to serve pastries. In addition will learn how to open and close up our MAKR cafe, how to work the POS system and the retail | inventory system relating to the coffeebar. This training track is three days a week for three weeks. No experience required.

Participating in the MAKR Collective will require a commitment on your part. So you can make an informed decision to participate, here are the steps all participants will be required to take. Please mark each checkbox indicating you understand each step. If you have questions or need additional information or assistance, please ask your Case Manager.
