The founders of AER Textiles – a fine-art production textile design firm, are quintessential lovers of art, design and most importantly, people. We were fortunate to meet them along our 'fact finding journey' in creating sustainable solutions to post consumer textile waste here in Houston – And there they were, huge art advocates, passionate about education, ethical practice and philanthropy. Well that pretty much sealed the deal, AER Textiles became a beloved partner in our war against waste. Deeply embedded in the interior world they have opened the door to another level of material collection and reuse that we can offer as an organization.... and our Resource Library was born, extending our growing inventory beyond fashion and accessories, to include interior sample and end of bolt waste, to offer as a resource to art and design students and educators throughout Houston. 

AER Textiles is a textile design firm specializing in fine-art production, licensing, manufacturing and consulting. Our textiles are inspired by unique artwork from our team of talented artists, and then crafted by expert weavers.

AER Textiles serves a greater purpose beyond profits.  We strive to advance the art community and empower our individual artists, ensuring they receive credit for their work, and promoting their name.  We also engage art students by providing opportunities for them to express themselves in creative ways, and to learn about the power of art and design.  We fundamentally believe arts education empowers individual expression – the heart of design.
