Magpies & Peacocks is the nation’s only 501(c)(3) non-profit design house dedicated to disrupting waste in the fashion industry by reclaiming post-consumer textiles and transforming them into upcycled, one-of-a-kind products. Through a circular model grounded in Creativity, Collaboration, Education, and Community Investment, we promote sustainable fashion while reducing landfill impact and environmental harm.
In addition to our environmental work (Planet), Magpies & Peacocks also prioritizes People through a workforce development program that supports survivors of trauma and underserved communities. The MAKR Collective program offers skill-building with real pathways to employment in fashion and related industries.
By combining circular fashion innovation with social empowerment, Magpies & Peacocks is redefining fashion as a force for good, advancing both environmental responsibility and economic equity in every stitch.
